As a beginner myself, I can give several gardening tips based on my successes and failures thus far. The best tip I can offer is that there is no right answer and it’s all about experimenting and seeing what’s right for you and your environment!
Gardening tip #1: Start small
- Avoid the garden overwhelms. I know, it’s exciting, but when you don’t know what you’re doing you may spend a lot of time preparing too many things, all for none to sprout, much less thrive. Been there.
Gardening tip #2: Observe
- Whats already in your microclimate
- Wildlife bugs bees birds etc.
- Where things thrive or die
- How sun or rainfall affects different things
Gardening tip #3: Experiment
- With different soils
- With different areas (consider sun/shade/wind factors)
- With different plants
Gardening tip #4: Keep things simple
- Most basic tools and the easiest to grow plants
- Basic methods of sprouting potting etc.
Gardening tip #5: Let them die
- it’s ok it’s better than not trying at all
- Its part of the learning and observing mentioned above
